Personnal Info

I am a software engineer and full professor at the computer science department of the University of Sherbrooke, Canada. I specialize in medical imaging, video analytics, image processing, deep learning, and computer vision. In 2011, I co-founded a company called Imeka. Imeka develops software for the medical imaging community. I am also the co-director of the image processing and visualisation service at the Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Sherbrooke (plateforme d'analyse et de visualisation d'images) and director of the research center for intelligent environments.

I founded some time ago the Videos & Images Theory and Analytics Laboratory (VITAL) . The lab activities are articulated around weekly webinars, lab meetings, reading groups and super cool coding Fridays, all of which in relation with machine learning and computer vision. For more info, please visit our website.
