Systèmes tutoriels intelligents

Mes recherches sur les systèmes tutoriels intelligents se retrouvent à l'intersection de l'intelligence artificielle, de la psychologie cognitive et des sciences de l'éducation. Mes travaux portent principalement sur la conception d'un système de représentation des connaissances qui facilite l'encodage d'un domaine d'expertise, l'acquisition de cette expertise et le suivi d'un apprenant qui tente de résoudre un problème lié à ce domaine d'expertise. Forage des données

C'est en essayant de trouver comment inférer les connaissances d'un apprenant à partir de la trace de ses actions dans un environnement d'apprentissage que je me suis intéressé au forage des données. Actuellement, mes recherches portent sur la détection des signes précurseurs de faillites chez les utilisateurs de carte crédits.

Thèmes de recherche

Mes intérêts de recherche portent sur l'intelligence artificielle et les sciences cognitives. Je m'intéresse plus particulièrement à la modélisation des processus cognitifs, à la conception des modèles de l'usager et à leur intégration dans les systèmes intelligents (SI). Je m'intéresse donc aussi aux interactions entre l'être humain et l'ordinateur.

Objectifs de recherche

Mes travaux de recherche touchent les problèmes suivants :

• la représentation de connaissances dans les SI;

• le développement de l'architecture des SI;

• l’identification des connaissances et des buts de l’usager à partir de son interaction avec un SI;

• la conception et l’implantation du support cognitif et comportemental;

• la conception des outils d'aide à la création de ces systèmes.

Projets en cours

ASTUS : Pour ce groupe de recherche, je m’intéresse à des structures de représentation des connaissances inspirées de la psychologie afin de modéliser aussi bien le comportement idéal que le comportement erroné d’un apprenant. Les défis que j’aborde sont ceux de la modélisation des connaissances dans un format qui sera approprié pour l'enseignement, la conception de systèmes capables de choisir et d'appliquer des stratégies pédagogiques, l'inférence des connaissances des buts et des connaissances de l'apprenant à partir de ses actions dans l'environnement d'apprentissage. Au niveau génie logiciel, je m’intéresse à la diminution du couplage entre les modules ainsi qu'à l'enseignement à distance.

 

PROSPECTUS : Très récemment, je me suis intéressé à l’aide des outils du data mining à la modélisation du comportement des titulaires de cartes de crédit afin de détecter les signes précurseurs de faillites.
